Read Etsy rules and Listsy defaults separately
Etsy currently accepts PNG as a digital buyer-file format and permits up to five files with a maximum of 20 MB per file. Etsy does not require every PNG to be 3000 by 3000 pixels or carry 300 DPI metadata.
Listsy uses those dimensions and metadata as its current PNG specification. The checker reports both sets of facts so a Listsy warning is not mistaken for an Etsy rule.

The file stays on your device
The checker uses browser file APIs, PNG header data, and a temporary in-memory canvas. It does not submit the file to Listsy or another service. Reloading or closing the page clears the result.
A very large image may be skipped during the decoded transparency scan to protect browser memory. Header facts can still be reported when available.
A technical check cannot review the whole product
The tool does not know whether you own the design, whether the wording is correct, whether edge quality is acceptable, or whether the buyer's software supports the intended use. It also cannot inspect a ZIP manifest when you select only the PNG.
Use the result as one file check. Review the artwork, package, listing copy, mockups, disclosure, and Etsy draft separately.
What to do when a check needs attention
A warning should lead to a specific next step. Fix the file only when the result conflicts with the product you intend to sell; do not change a valid Etsy file merely to satisfy a Listsy-specific default.
